The week is barreling on. I have a headache and way too much to do, but it’s fun so I’m not complaining. Vacation sounds pretty good right now, though. Barring that, there’s always coffee and cakes. That’s almost as good.

Great hair
Wrapped up yesterday at Erlands, saying goodbye to one of my favorite bartenders who did his last day. My posse had great hair, I was mostly tired, but it was a good evening all the same.
Also, congratulations to Malin. Well done! I’ll say no more.
This week is looking rough. There are so many things I need to fit together before heading back south and the house sale. And then there’s driving back too, so next week will be truncated. Troublesome.

Business lounge is packed
Flying back to Stockholm in a little while. Monday mornings at the airport are always interesting. The business lounge is more packed than the seating area outside the gate, things like that makes me smile.
It looks to be a busy week. Lots of fun stuff to do, things to tick off, before I fly back south to wrap up everything you need to do when you sell a house. It’ll be good to leave that to the real estate agent, because I really don’t want to think about that, nor moving.
Enjoy your Monday, I know I will.

Taking it slow
Taking it slow today. Yesterday’s driving, along with the fact that I have an early flight back to Stockholm, and a pretty packed week, sort of warrants – nay, demands – it. It’s nice to be in the house, I’ve missed it, and the sea of course.
I’ll leave you with a photo of a friend from the excellent restaurant Bistrot Panamé, because why not? Enjoy your Sunday.

Shitty photo from my house
Back at the house at Österlen in the south of Sweden, after seven hours in the car. We’re prepping it for sale, it’ll be on the market in a couple of weeks. I’m going to miss this place. Enter shitty photo from upstairs.

Tried the bar
We tried the aforementioned bar in the Divide & Conquer studio last night. It was fun – shocker, right? There might be a drink or two this afternoon too, but in moderation since I’m driving south tomorrow morning, and I’d rather not be too tired. Or hungover, for that matter.

It’s that simple
It’s been months since I last wrote fiction. That really does not sit well with me, it’s like something’s missing, which it obviously is. Thing is, I can’t find the energy to get back to it. It’s not a writer’s block or similar construct, it’s just too many things on my plate. I can find the time, I just lack the energy right now.
I’m giving it another two weeks, then I’ll force myself to get back to writing fiction. If I’m still in a position where I can’t find the energy, I’ll just remove something from my plate. It is, after all, that simple.
We celebrated a new client for Divide & Conquer, with style as always. Yesterday was a pretty good day, after all.

Bar construction
Yesterday was rough, but it ended up alright, with drinks and construction of a temporary bar in the Divide & Conquer studio.
I’m wrapping up my last dealings with 24HR. It’s frosty, and often silly. My patience is running thin, as you can imagine. That’s one helluva story to tell, beyond what I’ve already said.
Oh, by the way, there’s actually an issue of my newsletter that’s ready to be sent. You should subscribe, if you can’t get enough of my silly ramblings.

Fuck off everything
Today I’m tired with a throbbing headache. It’s a fuck off everything kind of day, it would seem. Please surprise me, world.

Not a single night
There’s not a single calm night this week. I’m sort of dreading that now, but I’m sure it’ll be fine. It usually is.
Have a great week folks, and remember: This is just the first Monday of many to come, but not that many, so make the most of it.

Going with the flow
I sort of went with the flow yesterday, just like I did the day before. See, I’ve found that taking the days as they come, when they’re off days, is what works best for me at the moment. Things will fall into place that way. I think it’s working.
Granted, an impromptu movie with a friend, a great Czech place just around the corner, and fun and games with my friends at Bistrot Panamé, is kind of a great day. And today the rain finally came, so I’m happy.

Benevolent
I planned a quiet evening in. I passed my favorite bar. I saw some friends. I got home at five in the morning. Sometimes life is like that, but you know what, it can be pretty damn fun and energizing. Now I’m in the city centre, looking for a glass of the bubbly stuff to start this day properly.
Have a great Saturday, and don’t do anything I wouldn’t. Yeah, I know, I’m giving you quite a bit of leeway, but I’m a benevolent lord like that.

Need focus
Started the day by getting a new client for Divide & Conquer, that’s always fun.
I’ve got a busy day, and weekend, ahead of me. So many small things to take care of, the todo list is growing on me again. Need to sit down and focus, to figure out what’s important. I think I’ll start with that.
Have a great Friday!

Hijinks and pizza
It was too hot in the studio for work yesterday, so we went out drinking. Hijinks ensued, bars were closed, and so forth. Today has featured pizza, and a very warm apartment, but it’s all good. I did manage to write an issue of WPSE though, the first one of the Swedish WordPress newsletter since the summer hiatus. Coming to subscriber inboxes soon.
Oh, and happy 35th birthday to my little brother Stefan, who isn’t particularly small as you can tell from his Instagram…!

Restarted project
Restarted the secret project the other day. It’s good to have it rolling again, the summer hiatus wasn’t exactly planned but oh so necessary. I’m getting close to the point where I need to take the project to the next step, so I’ve started thinking about that too. Add all the things going on with Divide & Conquer, and you’ve got my days pretty much summed up.
