  • Buy sell buy sell

I’m taking five minutes to upload this photo and breathe. It’s been a crazy workday, and it’s not over yet. We’re hunkering down in a suite at a swanky hotel, because these are crazy days.

For some reason, my partner in crime finds it hilarious when I’m on the phone like this. ”Buy sell buy sell,” she says. Well okay then.

  • My office for the week

As I mentioned earlier, we’ll be working primarily from a different spot for a bit. This is (part) of my office for the week. Not too shabby if you ask me.

It looks even better i black and white, don’t you think?

  • It’s Friday and the sun is shining

It’s Friday and the sun is shining. I’ve sent this week’s issue of WPSE, my Swedish WordPress newsletter, and taken control of my inbox. I’d say that it’s been a productive morning, which I’ll wrap up with a walk in the sunshine, before tackling the afternoon’s tasks. I’m really glad there are no quarantine here in Sweden.

  • A windy drive

Back in Stockholm for, well, two weeks probably. It was a windy drive from the summer home, so much in fact that cars were wobbling on the freeway. Wish we could’ve stayed, but alas… At least the next two weeks will feature a pretty swanky office. There might be photos down the line.

  • Slow is the word really

I’m feeling the Easter hangover, although I don’t know why because there was neither excessive parties nor a jam-packed schedule. While there’s work to be done this week, I’ve decided to take it somewhat easy. Slow is the word really.

  • I’m going to do my part

Back in Stockholm, but anxious to return to the summer home because there’s painting going on there now. We’ll see the result in a couple of days. For now, time to support our local pizzeria and pick up some pizzas. It’s eerily empty in there on times where it shouldn’t be, so I’m going to do my part. Yes, by having pizza.

  • Send someone a thought or two

It’s Easter and I’m sure a lot of people are sad about not being able to be with their families. Let them know that you’re thinking about them with a text or two, if you can. And if you don’t celebrate Easter, or just don’t give a damn about religious holidays, you can always send someone a thought or two anyway. I know I will.

  • Smiling and all

Took the car out of the city, to the summer home, for a short break. The loudest thing here is the fridge, and possibly some distant neighbor with too much energy.

Also, the car seems fine with being dirty, smiling and all.

  • I’m looking forward to the Easter break

These are busy days, I’m looking forward to the Easter break (which I’ll spend … building a WordPress site for a friend … yeah, I suck at this) from deadlines. I have things I want to play, listen to, and write, but we’ll see. I will fire up the overpriced Weber grill though, have a beer or two, and enjoy whatever little sunshine will be granted. Right now, I’m really happy about having a summer home to flee to.

But first: One million more things to wrap up tonight.

  • Check out the Ethical Design Handbook

If you’re stuck at home and looking for something to read, do check out the Ethical Design Handbook published by my friends over at Smashing Magazine. The hardcover is excellent, but there are other versions available too.

  • Anonymous forever

My (still) anonymous project is nearing its end. There are eight more entries to go, which means it should wrap in April. I have no idea what to do with it after that, other than revamp the site, possibly using Eleventy and a static host, because it will never (?) get another update. Then it can sit there forever, an always open art show.

A coffee table book would’ve been fun, but it’s not practical in any way. I think I’ll just finish it and that’s that. I might not even announce the thing, it’ll stay anonymous forever. We’ll see.

  • Doing this and that

It’s a beautiful day and I’m doing this and that indoors, catching up on some reading, and putting off setting up the new mesh network. It’s finally time to retire that old (and unsupported) Time Capsule, and get a slightly better signal in the bedroom too.

I have some time for myself this afternoon. I think I’ll see how Animal Crossing: New Horizons look on the big screen.

  • Everywhere’s a workplace if you want it to be

Did you get fooled yesterday? I didn’t, but I did sort of participate in the nonsense with this thing, which will be funny for WordPress people only.

In other news, everywhere’s a workplace if you want it to be.

I’m doing the whole mobile office thing today. This was today’s first glamorous corner…
